Tiffany a member of our Stingray 16 Adidas team, 2016 is Tiffany’s second year with Stingray volleyball. We wanted to get to know more about Tiffany so we asked the questions.

What is your favorite volleyball memory?
Winning State this year!!! There’s nothing like working hard and seeing that work pay off.

What is your favorite volleyball drill and why?
“Coach-on-1” because it is a challenge and it pushes me to get better. I love a practice that makes me work HARD.

What advice would you give to other volleyball players?
Always give your very best effort at EVERY practice, on EVERY drill, ALL the time! Play with passion and leave everything you have on the court.

Who is your role model and why?
Sadie Robertson – because she’s not afraid to be who she is, regardless of what other people might think and she’s not afraid to share her faith.

What is your favorite food?
Chicken Strips and French fries!

Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have a brother, Timmy who is 18 years old and a senior.

What is your favorite book?
Hunger Games

What is your favorite song?
“You belong with me” by Taylor Swift

If you could meet three famous people for dinner, who would they be and why?
1. Kevin Durant – because he is so humble and I admire that. I place value on his being an excellent athlete, but still maintaining a humble, caring attitude and giving credit to the team.
2. Jennifer Lawrence – because she is a good actress. She is very convincing in whatever role she is acting in and seems to draw you in to believe what she must be feeling.
3. Taylor Swift – because she set out to become a musician and she reached her goals regardless of her age. She believed in her abilities and gave it everything she had to see her dreams become reality and I admire that.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
When our team shakes hands with the opposing team before the match, instead of saying “Good Luck”, I always say “God Bless”. I believe He is the one that gives us the ability to play. Ability and hard work make greatness – luck has nothing to do with it.

What is your favorite subject in school?

Thank you very much for this recognition. I love volleyball! I strive to play with passion and a true love for the game, so this honor means a lot to me. I am so grateful to Coach T and Coach Joey for the huge impact they have on me and I am truly appreciative of the time and effort that my coach and teammates invest in me through practices. I am truly appreciative. Tiffany
